Wheels on the Bus

Today was great for all the potty utilizing but it was also amazing because up until now the only phrases that were really spoken by the girls were Stop It and...hmmm, maybe just Stop it.

But tonight Audrey heard a song on the radio that she REALLY wanted to hear again. A very cute version of Baa Baa Black Sheep by Caspar Babypants (yes, Caspar Babypants).This version has more numbers and these girls are totally digging numbers...I can't imagine where they get that from. She can be quite insistent so I found it on Amazon Prime and downloaded it and she was pleased and she and Zoey danced around the house putting the fingers up into different versions of numbers.

Following that song was a prior downloaded version of Wheels on the Bus. These girls LOVE Wheels on the Bus. Also another cute version of a classic song where not only do they run through the usual verses but then animals begin showing up on the bus. Not surprisingly, Zoey loves the monkeys. OOO OOO OOO OOO OOO she says when the song ends. So I play it again. And then Baa Baa Black Sheep.  Zoey requests more OOO OOO OOO  (including hand gestures for Wheels on the Bus). AND THEN SHE SAYS WHEELS ON THE BUS.

OMG. 

I understood an entire phrase that was something she desired!

TODAY WAS A RED LETTER DAY!
