I looked forward

writing this i felt like alan ginseburgs poem howl... which...is appropriate...i do not think this poem is finished yet...

I looked forward to climbing and hiking, to sitting in front of the fire drinking tea, or wine and sewing a long set aside article of clothing;

to hearing about the continued progress of your work and the related dreams to that tale; to seeing if you liked playing racket ball; to attempting to cook dinner from fresh food from the garden;

to dancing in the seemingly unused dining room; to long hot showers on cold days in the cozy claw foot tub;

to curling up on the couch listening to stories of adventures past; to creating our own...

but you are still in love with her...

yet you say you want to be friends...

i haven't heard from you in over a week...

is this it?

another lesson, i still have not learned.

to be continued...as usual...

Great Poem and one ANYONE can relate to. This dance we do as friends and lovers is messy. Sometimes we want the same things, sometimes we don't. Either way, we are all 100% responsible for the reality we create, and although the production might be flawed at times, underneath it all, we are beautiful works in progress. My dance says nothing about you, just as your dance says nothing about me...and you my dear, are beautiful.
